perhaps a little too much American Idol

I had the craziest dream Friday night and since I remember it, I feel it is blog-worthy. It tells me two things...first, I possibly watch American Idol too much and I possibly think too much about babies. Okay, so in my dream, I am sitting on a couch, or perhaps a barstool, or maybe a chair, oh well, it doesn't matter; I am sitting in a row of people with another row of people behind us. This looks much like a scene from elimination night on "Idol." The host, maybe it was Ryan Seacrest, not for sure, tells my row to stand up. Then, he says to a couple of people on my row to sit down, but not me, I'm still standing. And he says to the rest of us something like, "and for the rest of you, congratulations, you've made it...you are PREGNANT." In the dream, I started CRYING. I said, "but how can this be? We are doubly fixed. We are supposed to adopt our next baby." And then I woke up. Yes, weird dream, I know. You see, Friday evening Mike and I went to a Winter Jam concert (Mandisa, Newsong, Skillet, Barlow Girl, MercyMe) and they showed a video about Holt International, a Christian international adoption agency. The video told all these sad statistics and showed all these pictures of babies who are living in horrifying circumstances who need to be adopted. Of course, I want to bring all these babies home and lavish them in God's love! I guess I was thinking about it more than I realized to have such a crazy dream! Too funny!

You came to OKC and didn't call me?!?!?! I'm hurt...HURT! :) Anyway, maybe you ARE pregnant and that's why you had that dream! :) Eh? Eh? Just kidding. I better not hear about you being in my town and not calling me again!

How was the concert?! We wanted to go but was afraid we wouldn't be able to see Pure NRG because of the long lines. Plus, I had to drive to OKC early the next morning & didn't trust myself to stay awake if I went to bed late the night before ;-)

That made me laugh out loud. Mike, too. He said you should send it in to Reader's Digest!
