I love Christmas. Seriously, I really, really love this time of year!
I love going to get the Christmas tree...trekking through the woods, er....Christmas tree farm, to find that perfect tree that will occupy a corner of our home for the next month. This year was even more fun because my brother Bill, his son Bryce, and my parents were with us!

A few fun words overheard that day:
Kyle, after being told that we were going to get the tree: I KNEW this was going to be a special day!
Nate: Will there be snow there?? (He said something very similar to this last year! Remember, we used to live in Maine!)
my nephew Bryce: Aunt Margo's tree has NINE LEGS!!!! (This was after Bill told him that we were looking for a tree that was 9 feet tall!....What a cutie!!)
We gave Bill and Bryce their Christmas presents while they were here, since we won't see them until who knows when...sniff, sniff. I love my brother; it's really a bummer that he lives all the way in Houston. Anyway, here is a good picture of Bryce with Nate and Kyle! He's four, right between Kyle and Ian. He and Ian are best buds!

Those are awesome pictures! What fun. And it is so hard to believe Nathanael's about to be 7. Can you believe Jessica will be 11??? (You would if you were around her for long...)
Great pictures. It is so much fun to go to the Christmas tree farm. It has been a few years since we have been. I love the smell of a real tree.
aww, how precious!!! We go there too and I posted pics of our journey into the back 40, hehehe. We ended up buying one that had been brought in tho, smells sooooo good. My whole hose smells like spruce!! These are such precious memories, these are the good ole days Marg!! Love the pics! ♥ LA
Great pictures - funny kids! My sister put the skirt on her tree this year ad her little girl said, "Now it's a girl!" Crack me up. Great shot of you and your brother...some day that'll be you and Mike standing there with your big tall boys. It will be worth it all!
thanks for sharing your tree picking adventure. what neat memories for your family.
sounds y'all had a wicked good time. :)
It was good to see you this morning! What fun you guys had with family at the tree farm!
My sister and I have the same stair-step pattern with our kids. In late spring we'll have a 6, 5, 4, 3, and 2 year old. The 6, 4 and 2 are hers, the 5 and 3 will be mine. Oh man, I just freaked myself out there. I'm going to have a 5 and 3 year old in the spring! Wow, they grow fast!!!
