Today after lunch, Caden, Ian, and I played Chutes and Ladders. We could only find two of the game pieces, a girl and a boy. Teasingly, I said to Ian, "You can be the girl." To which he replied, "I'll be the girl. I love girls. I have a hundred girl friends." I started smiling and said something about me being a girl. He said, "Well, you're my favorite girl friend."
Today is the first day home with just Caden and Ian. The older two started public school today. That's a whole other blog post for another day. All I can say is so far so good!!!
5 your thoughts:
FRIEND, YOUR A WONDERFUL MOM AND YOU LOVE THE LORD. REMEMBER HE WILL WORK ALL THINGS OUT FOR THOSE WHO LOVE AND SERVE HIM. YOU DO THAT. HUGS FROM MAINE TO YOU FRIEND.
Good luck Girlie! You never know.... just keep doing what is right for the moment, and God will work out the rest!
Oh, Margo. I love this story, and I echo your friends above....you are an incredibly loving and godly mom, and I hope you never listen to any lies to the contrary. Can't wait to hear about the new school path you're taking, but I know that your decisions are always so prayerful and want you to know that you have my thoughts and support in this journey. Much love, friend.
