Tulsa State Fair

My parents took me and 4 of my blessings to the fair today. We are probably going again on Friday with our homeschool group since we had such a good time today!! The boys' favorite things were the "farm thing", the pig races, and the Nick Live show.

The "Fun on the Farm" exhibit is awesome!! The kids really liked it, and I really liked it because it was FREE. I think the boys liked it because they got a FREE snack at the end with the "money" they got from selling their eggs and veggies. They started out by putting on little aprons and picking up a basket. Then, they got to milk a cow.

Then, they got eggs from the hens and...
picked veggies from the garden.

Next was riding some John Deere tractors...
Lastly, here are my 4 blessings outside of the "bank" getting ready to sell their goods so they can get money to buy a snack at the "store"...sweet...free snack at the fair, seriously can't beat that!
Next, we headed over to the birthing center and petting zoo. An ENORMOUS pig just gave birth to 14 little ones a couple of days ago. Here are the boys checking it out...
Could you imagine having FOURTEEN babies at once...Wow! OUCH!
Here's the runt...there were actually two runts, but this is the littlest runt.
This petting zoo, also free once you're in the fair, is amazing...complete with a giraffe...
a couple of camels...
a zebra...
and tons of other animals...like mountain goats, an ostrich, chickens, rabbits, lambs, etc. It was so much fun!!

This is me and my 4 blessings with my dad.

I didn't take any pictures of the actual pig races, but this is their truck.

So, as you can tell, we had a great time at the fair. The Nick Live show was really fun! It took place in the new "Just for Kids" building that had lots of cool things in it. We spent a lot of time in there as well. We were all pretty tired when we got home. Ian fell asleep in the van on the way home, walked into the house when we got home, and fell back asleep on this bed like this.
Funny.

That petting zoo was awesome! I can't believe the had a giraffe.

Work is going okay. The partners are out of town for a conference so Sarah and I are manning the office for a few days - hoping we don't get too many panicked phone calls.
