I have 2 cordless phones and 1 cell phone in my house at the present moment. I, however, cannot make any phone calls because ALL THREE of them are dead and need to be charged. Brilliant.

I can relate. I have needed, actually, truly needed my cell phone like 5 times ... when my brakes failed, 2 flat tires, alternator died, battery died, ( I love my car) and 4 of those 5 times my phone was beeping the battery was so dead and my call for help was BRIEF. lol.
Didn't your mama tell you?? You really should have 1 old-school analog phone in your house for emergencies! What if some natural disaster occurred (not that far-fetched these days) and you didn't have power for a few days?? Then all your phones would be dead! Get yourself to Walmart and buy one phone that does not need to be plugged into an electric outlet, friend!!

I had an analog phone that also had an alarm clock built into it that was on my nightstand. Until one day I heard this hissing sound and realized my phone/alarm had literally gone up in smoke! I haven't replaced it.
