sunburn

Today it was confirmed that Nate definitely inherited my skin type and will indeed burn in the spots where sunblock has not been applied. Let's just say that I obviously didn't apply his sunblock evenly.
Poor guy. He looks like someone socked him in the eye! Kyle and Ian, on the other hand, have beautiful brown skin at this time of year. It's so funny how God can create such different kids from the same parents! Caden, in case you're wondering, is like Nate and me and doesn't tan well.
(Nate, Kyle, Caden and I had a wonderful time swimming at a friend's house with a whole bunch of church friends! Ian has been at my parents' house since Sunday, and he says he doesn't miss us! I'm not sure when he's coming back, the little stinker!! Kyle sure misses him, though, which is so funny since they fight so much normally!)

Aaaawww that's a great pic! When I saw him after class it looked like he had been wearing sunglasses?!
Atleast the boys had fun playin' today! You'll have to get him a sun hat ; )

At least he looks happy! Jessica's the same way--I had a dr tell me he'd never seen a baby with skin as fair as hers. Did he look better the second day? She always does...
Are you ready for school to start? We are!

I love your kid's smiles and "happy" eyes ;-)

awww I bet Ian is just enjoying being an "only child" for a few days..he will surely miss his brothers soon. (and of COURSE he misses his mommy & daddy)

I burn too, except for my "driving arm" which sticks out the window..that gets a great little tan after 2-3 months exposure. I am so proud of it and show it off. lol.

Miss you guys like crazy...
