I made yogurt!! I found this recipe and decided to give it a try! So, I started it yesterday and this morning, I had yogurt!
Then, today I bought organic blueberries.
I pureed them with a little stevia to sweeten the yogurt, added it to the plain yogurt, and ended up with this!
Yippee!! The lady who wrote the recipe says that it will be runnier than commercial yogurt, and it definitely is. I'm looking for ways to thicken it some that won't compromise the live cultures of the yogurt! How fun! Our family will be having blueberry yogurt with granola for breakfast! (This is much better for you than the biscuits and gravy that we were having every Sunday...the #1 ingredient on that gravy mix is partially hydrogenated something or other...which is BAD, BAD, BAD for you...much to my husband's disappointment! You can read more about it here.)

This is odd, but I had a dream about homemade blueberry yogurt last night after reading this post. You were nowhere to be found in the dream, but your yogurt was a star.
The domestic goddess strikes again! Looks yummy - I think ;-)
