Nate's randomness

Totally random at breakfast yesterday, Nate said, "What color is a pickled pepper?" I just started laughing! I mean this seriously came out of nowhere. We haven't been saying any tongue twisters lately or anything. He definitely is my favorite six-year-old! And I guess the answer is that it depends on what color the pepper is!

You know, I never really thought about it, but you can't even pick pickled peppers!
Great pictures on your previous post, by the way.
So our first week homeschooling was great, but not perfect. The first day, doing Bible study, no less, Mikayla got frustrated and scribbled on her page. (Yes, she is 8). I sent her to her room and we had a talk about frustration and asking for help, and from then on she was mostly fine. I didn't write about that on my blog because she reads it sometimes. Also, it's a good thing we take it easy on Fridays, because by Friday we were all done. By done I mean out of enthusiasm. Done with work. Ready to rest and play. Isn't it great that we CAN?! :) How do you like Sonlight so far? My second year is so much easier than my first, if that encourages you any.
How's the food make-over going? What do you eat for breakfast? Just wondering...

i just love these random thoughts of children. a couple of weeks ago we were at Discoveryland and after the show went by a couple of the shops. As Ryan and I are leaving the 'gift'shop, he says, "Why do we have to pay if it is a gift shop?" I wonder the same thing!!!!!!!!!! Kids are just so AWESOME!!!
