praises and thoughts and lots of pictures!

Today I am praising Jesus for guiding us to this house/neighborhood! Nathanael (more and more often being called Nate) is down the street right now at our new neighor's house playing with Gabe, who is also 5-years-old and will be in kindergarten with Nathanael next year! The first time they met (last Friday) they were riding their bikes (both still with training wheels) up and down the street...instant friends! I was so excited that I thought I was going to cry. I said that to Gabe's mom, Kristi, and she said she was just thinking the same thing! Hopefully these two will become best of friends and learn together how to ride bikes with no training wheels, play t-ball together, play trucks and cars together, etc. The story gets even better. Kristi and her husband Jake also have a 2-year-old named Brodie. He is just 8 days younger than Ian! I pray that these two will also be instant playmates! They haven't really played together yet, but I bet it will be cute! They are about the same size...you know, kind of on the bruiser side of the growth curve! Brodie is a really good talker, so hopefully this will help Ian to talk more!! Also, Kristi is someone who I know will be a good friend for me...so yippee!

I also wanted to post some pictures from the last couple of weeks...I must confess, I haven't been a very good blogger lately!!

Here are Nate and Kyle at basketball practice! This Monday is their last day. They have done very well!!

Here are the boys playing in the garage. It rained for almost 2 weeks, so playing in the garage was a good thing! They love riding Big Jake!!

Here is Nate on stage at his school program! You can click on the picture to make it bigger! This is at the end of the program when they are accepting their certificates. There were about 75 kids on the stage for the song part of the program. He, unfortunately, didn't sing with the group, but he ran right up there to stand with his class and get his certificate...we're making progress! Last year he wouldn't get on stage with his class at all! So, maybe next year he'll do the whole thing!
On Mother's Day we went to see my Grandma Hammers. We took the kids to a park to play. They had a wonderful time! This is Grandma reading the boys a book!
This is us trying super hard to get a good "picture with mom" for Mother's Day...didn't quite happen!!
This one's better, but we're missing Ian!
Here are all my boys on the teeter totter! How fun!
Caden was wiped out!! Mike loved this!
Here is a good picture with Grandma! I am so happy that we could see her on Mother's Day. She said we made her day!!

We are getting ready to go to Bartlesville to have dinner with my Grandma Albright and then go to a really fun Kiddie Park that is only 25 cents a ride!! Yippee!! We are meeting a family there that has a daughter in Nate's class at school. How fun!

I am so glad you found such a family oriented neighborhood...and that your family is close enough to see more often! Your church family misses you back here in Maine. I hear Matt/Seb are gonna be stopping through on their western adventure! Matt is moving to NJ in July-God is really leading his life. love ya, hattie
