I have been super-encouraged by random emails/phone calls that have been coming my way these last few days. I praise Jesus for His provision in this area! It's like I have been receiving a bunch of heavenly hugs!
This morning God challenged me in my time with Him. I read Proverbs 31. The verse that really stuck out today was verse 25. My favorite version puts it this way: "She is clothed with strength and dignity; she smiles at the future." I haven't been very good at smiling at the future lately...what a challenge! I looked up the word for dignity in a concordance, it actually translates as "honor". I had a fun time finding synonyms for "honor." Some of my favorites include: principle, nobility, graciousness, decency, goodness, politeness, beauty, decorum. What a lot to strive after! I pray that God will be my strength and my dignity because He knows these things don't come easily! I am praying that I will daily be clothed with strength and dignity!!

how encouraging...and isn't it amazing, God knows exactly what we need to read...and sends it our way?
Years ago when I was feeling overwhelmed with Proverbs 31, God showed me that it was a life long process. I could take comfort in knowing that He would mold and shape me as each year passed. WHAT A RELIEF!!! I think I'll open it up again. Thanks friend, Hugs from Maine
