Creation unit: COMPLETE!!

Here are some pictures from our first 2 weeks of school. We already went on a field trip to the air and space museum!! It worked out perfectly because we went the day after we studied Creation Day 4...stars, moon, and sun. Nate LOVED it! He especially loved the Planetarium. It was great, but a little long (40 minutes)...I needed 4 more hands to take care of all the boys!

It really is going well and the kids are enjoying it...they want to do school even on days I am not planning on doing school!!! Even Ian gets in on the fun...he does the devotion with us first, the calendar, letters, numbers...pretty much everything! He sometimes goes off into the "reading corner" of the room and just hangs out by himself. We only do school time when Caden is sleeping. Since he still takes two 1-2 hour naps per day, it's pretty easy to get everything done. We also have been going to the YMCA with a few other moms from the homeschool co-op; it's great because all of our kids play together in child watch!

I also must write about the boys latest hair cuts! The lady that cut their hair forgot to put the guard back on after trimming around Ian's ears, so Nate's is extra, extra short! If you need a reminder of what it looked like before...just look at the pictures above again!

Oh, and I must confess that the lady doing the hair cutting was ME...OOPS!!!! :)

And finally...yes, it has been a long time since pictures, I would like to put a few pictures up from my birthday. Mike and the boys made me a cake that we enjoyed after going to dinner with my dear friend Meridith (known her since kindergarten), her husband Brian, and their little girl Hailey. We had a great time! And Angela, the last few pictures are for you. These are my 5 blessings enjoying some Blue Bell right out of the carton!
