Our family is growing!

Don't worry, I'm not pregnant; we are just growing in a different way. This week, I have come to the realization that our family, meaning our boys, are indeed growing. This means that they are getting taller, learning to read, talking more (Ian has FINALLY started to use some words and Nate talks pretty much nonstop), napping less, and EATING MORE!!! Two times this week, what I planned for our dinner just wasn't enough food. A few nights ago I made chicken and pasta with Alfredo sauce and veggies...we totally didn't have enough! I made the same amount that I always have and this time it just wasn't enough. Then today, since it was 90 degrees and the LAST DAY OF SUMMER (sniff, sniff), we decided to go to the pool one last time and then order pizza. I ordered 2 medium 2-topping pizzas from Pizza Hut...it wasn't enough. Bummer. Already, when they're just 5, 4, 2, and 11 months, our grocery budget is going to have to increase! I know, I know, just wait until they're all teenagers.
Tonight, we made cookies. (Thank you, Melissa, for the cookie cutters that you gave me 3 or so years ago!)

Don't look too close at Ian's! He had just dumped his plate and the A and the N broke...actually, I had to get the top half of the A out of his mouth to put it together for the picture!!

And I can't leave Caden out (he was already in bed during the cookie-making), so here is a video of him from earlier this week!

Oh my gosh they ARE growing! Ian has changed so much since I've last seen him, and Caden--so mobile!--that video is way better than my puppy. :) Hug and kiss them all for me!
